PASTRY CHEF

  • Part time
  • 3 days per week
  • 8am-4pm shift
  • Weekends will be required (not every weekend)
  • Previous pastry experience 100% essential

Job Summary: We are currently seeking a skilled part time Pastry Chef to join our team in a bustling restaurant setting. The ideal candidate will be passionate about food preparation and possess excellent culinary skills to deliver high-quality dishes. Mid week and weekend shifts will be required on a rostered basis. References required upon interview.

Duties: Prepare and bake cakes and pastry items in accordance with recipes and quality standards. Assist in all areas of food preparation as needed.  Ensure a clean and organised pastry kitchen environment. Monitor food stock levels and replenish supplies as required. Collaborate with the team to deliver a seamless dining experience. Adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines.

Requirements: Previous experience working in a pastry kitchen. Proficient in food preparation techniques and culinary skills. Knowledge of kitchen equipment and utensils.  Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and organisational skills. Food safety certification is advantageous.
